■Kise's POV■

Manager: Good Job everyone!

I look around as the team has wrap our photo session of the day. I thanked everyone and then go to change my clothes.

As I'm heading to leave, my manager runs after me.

Manager: Kise! Hey! You're going already?

Kise: ah ... yes I have to leave...

My manager pouts and he stares at me, I know where this conversation heads to.

Manager: come on Kise, let's hang out with the team and our client... you've been leaving the site early for a mont... you only join us during meal before work start, and never hang with us after...

Exactly as he said, it's been a while since the last time I joined the team parties. I always head back right away and do the same routines since that day.

Manager: is it really that important? The things that you're doing everyday?

Y/N's face as she greets me whenever I came to her house pops in my head. I can't help but smile thinking that I'll see her like that all the time.

Kise: yes... there's nothing more important for me right now... other than this...

My manager sighs and then he gives up. I told him to say sorry to the team.

I left the building and rives to Y/N's place after stopping by to get puddings of course. I park my car and walk into their house right away because Y/ N's mother told me to.

Kise: hey, I'm here again...

There inside the living room, I see Y/N and her mother sitting on the sofa. She looks my way and my long awaited sweet smile of hers finally comes to view, shooing my fatigue away.

Y/N: ah, welcome Ryou kun...

I walk to them and stand behind the sofa. I put the box of pudding on Y/N's lap.

Kise: like alwayw, yiur favorite pudding is here... and for aunty and uncle I got you guys delicious  choux~

I give the other box to Y/N's mother. Y/N looks back but somehow she doesn't smile.

Kise: Y/N... what is it? Are you bored of eating this pudding?

She shook her head no

Y/ N: no! That's not it... it's just... Ryou kun keep on buying me puddings and other things, but I don't give you anything in return...

So that's what bothering her?

I lean my head on the back rest of the sofa and look at her.

Kise: but you gave me plenty of delicious food for two years, and even more... you made me breakfast, dinner, made my lunch box when my mother can't make one... so you don't need to worry... just hurry up and get well soon, and then... you can give me something in return...

Y/N's mother: that's right... you can learn mom's new recipes... and let Ryouta try it...

I look at Y/N's mother that puts the choux on the plate.

Kise: that's a great idea...

I look at Y/N and then she finally smiles again.

Y/N: then... I'll try ro get better soon... so Mother and Ryou kun don't have to feed me during meals...

Kise: wait wait... that's not included... though you healed your arm, I can still feed you...

Feeding her gives me some sort of satisfaction. Seeing how she enjoys the food after eating from the spoon that I hold, I enjoy that a lot.

Y/N : oh... by the way Ryou kun...

I look at Y/N and her eyes sparkling.

Y/N: I remember another things with you... when we were 5 grader I fell during gym class and you give me a piggyback home... I remember the road next to the river but it's kind of blury... and then on our third year in Teiko....

I can't help but stare at her as she excitedly tell me about all the things that I already know. The things that she remembers about us.

Kise: that's nice... do you feel any discomfort?

I place my hand on her head, she shooks her head no.

Y/N: well... I was dizzy for a moment but it's fine... I... at least got to remember another precious memory...

Kise: well then... wants to go to that road? And see the river? There's a good ramen stalls around there...

I want you to have that memory of us...

That you think as precious...

Because you are...

What's precious for me...

■Y/N's POV■

Ryou kun drives the car, we're still around my neighborhood. Tho I don't really remember the way, I know I'm familiar with this road.

Not long after there's a building, it's an elementary school.

Kise: this is where we used to study... that day you fell and sprained your ankle....

I look at Ryou kun as he looks at the road ahead.

Kise: you hold it and don't make a sound, but I know you cried all the way... so maybe that's why it's blurry in your memory...

Then the car stops at the side of the road. Ryou kun walks to my side and opens the door for me, holds his hand for me to take and I did.

When get out of the car, Ryou kun suddenly turns around and crouch down in front of me, he makes me got on his back.

Y/N: R-Ryou kun? Wh-

Kise: let's reenact that moment...

Ryou kun laughs and I can see the sunligh reflected on the river makes Ryou kun's face brighter and he looks sparkling.

I put my hand on his shoulders and Ryou kun start walking. I look up and see the scenery from that memory.

It's the same... but... it's not blurry...

So it's true, that one memory is blurry because I cried at the time. And then another memory came in.

"Ryou kun climbs down the stairs while carrying me. He stops at the side of the river and says

Kise: it's okay... you can cry all you want... you don't want your parents to be worried right, that's why you try to hold your tears... Cry Y/N... I'll be the only one listening...

With that little me cry again but this time I didn't hold it"

Kise: Y/N what's wrong?

Huh?

Ryou kun puts me down and turns around, he cups my cheeks and wipe the tears from my cheeks.

I cry...

Ryou kun looks at me, worried filled his eyes. I immediately wipes my tears away.

Y/N: ah, I'm sorry Ryou kun... I was... uh just got another memory... um Ryou kun told me to cry... and I did... and somehow I cry too..

The thing is, I cried because I know that Ryou kun has been with me since a long time. Knowing how I cry on his back, meanings I'm very comfortable around him.

So am I right now...

■3rd Person POV■

Kise worriedly staring at Y/N but the girl is smiling at him. Y/N brings a hand and covers Kise's hand on her cheeks.

Y/N: I... cried because in that memory I cried... hehe weird right...

Kise: you're really okay? Nothing wrong? Are you hurt anywhere?

Y/N shooks her head no telling Kise that she's really fine.

Y/N: I uh just... beside that memory... I know another thing...

Kise stares at Y/N as she stare back at his eyes. She smiles ever so sweetly at Kise and says.

Y/N: I know that... back then... and even now though I don't remember much about us... I know for sure... that Ryou kun is someone dear to me...

Kise's breath hitches.

Y/N: you're... definitely a precious person for me...

Kise lowers one of his hands from Y/N's cheek and puts it on Y/N's waist, pulling her closer to him.

Y/N: Ryou kun?

Kise: and so do you...

Y/N sees as Kise's eyes staring at her tenderly.

Kise: you're a very precious person for me too...

With that Kise leans in and presses his lips to Y/N's. Y/N was startled by the kiss and she doesn't know how to react.

Her hand that holds Kise's hand on her cheek, grip it tighter. Her heart is thumping like crazy and her face feels warm. Y/N shuts her eyes and feels Kise's soft lips on hers.

When Kise pulls back and the two meet eyes. Kise sees how flustered and confused Y/N is. He pulls Y/N to him, make her rest her head on his chest.

Kise: Y/N... though I said, I'll properly tell you that I love you after you regain your memory, and after I tell you one other thing...

Y/N can feel as Kise's arms around her tightened.

Kise: I really can't wait to change our relationship...

Kise pushes Y/N back a little and stares at her eyes.

Kise: Y/N... let's end our friendship... let's stop being friends....instead, please be my girlfriend Y/N...

Y/N's heart is beating like crazy

Kise: I... love you... so much...

Y/N still hasn't completely got her memories back. She still doesn't remember about her feeling for Kise, about her loving her childhood friends for years.

But even so

Y/N: I...

Y/N stares back at Kise, following what her heart telling her to do.

Y/N: I... love Ryou kun too...

Kise's eyes widened.

Y/N: though... I don't know how I feel about you in the past... the me right now... likes you so much... and from the memories I got.... I can tell...

Kise can't take his eyes off her.

Y/N: the past me too... must be in love with the kind Ryou kun who's always been around me...

With that Kise hugs Y/N again.

The two are expressing their love to each other...

As of today...

Is the end of a friendship...

And a start of a new form of relationship...
